International Safety and Health at Work Day is not just a day to remember those affected by workplace accidents, but a crucial opportunity to deeply instill a safety culture, from ourselves to society, because "workplace safety" is a fundamental right everyone should receive and a pillar of sustainable development. Sermsang Power Corporation Public Company Limited (SSP) believes that "safety" is the heart of sustainability. Safety is integrated into the organization's sustainability policy, moving forward to create a safe, internationally standardized working environment that cares for employees, contractors and all stakeholders, not just complying with regulations but to elevate everyone's quality of life in the long term. The concept of "sustainability" is woven into every dimension of operations, especially safety, which helps reduce long-term risks to both life and property.
SSP has therefore defined a safety strategy under the SANG strategy, emphasizing the care of safety, health, and well-being of employees and stakeholders, with the major goal of "reducing Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) to zero" to drive towards a truly safe and sustainable workplace.
On Monday, April 28, 2025, SSP organized a seminar to enhance safety awareness and create a culture of shared participation in commemoration of International Safety and Health at Work Day 2025, through the following topics: Safety is Everyone’s Job – Safety Starts with Us Healthy in the Office: Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Productive Work Ready for Anything – Prepared for Emergencies Zero Accident Culture – The Goal is No One Gets Hurt This event was honored by a key partner, Aero O&M Services Company Limited, who participated in the seminar, along with a special guest, Mr. Pichitchai Samueanpo (Joe), Safety Officer, who shared safety (un)secrets, moderated by Ms. Neeranara Suklangkan (Neen), Senior Corporate Communication Officer. The atmosphere was warm, with over 30 employees from the SSP group and partners attending, along with a special "Stamp your impact" activity to collect Impact stamps and redeem cloth bags from the Ramathibodi Foundation, a premium that also conveys value to society.
