WINCHAI – PowerHERing Future: Empowering Vulnerable Women and Fostering Gender Equality

The Rom Klao Wind Farm (WINCHAI) in Mukdahan Province, a wind power plant, organized a community engagement initiative as part of the "SSP 10 Years of Power for Change" project. This event, guided by the principle of "Share, Create, Transform – For People, For Planet, For Future," specifically focused on enhancing the quality of life for vulnerable women in the local area. This directly addresses social equity and gender equality aspects crucial for ESG evaluations.

WINCHAI personnel visited the Nikhom Sang Ton Eng Kham Soi community, distributing essential personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and sanitary pads, along with daily necessities, snacks, and beverages. This effort also aimed to empower the women in the community, strengthening their capacity to care for themselves and their families, and enabling them to stand resiliently with pride in their self-worth. This demonstrates a commitment to human rights and community resilience.
