UPT Organizes CSR Activity: "Merging Merit, Creating Happiness, and Caring for the Community" Preserving Thai Traditions, Passing On Educational Opportunities, and Creating Value for Community Sustainability

Uni Power Tech Co., Ltd. (UPT) organized a corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity titled "Merging Merit, Creating Happiness, and Caring for the Community" on the occasion of the 2026 Khao Phansa Festival (Buddhist Lent Day) on July 23, 2026. The event took place at Ban Thanon Khot School (Sriwittayakharn) and Thanon Khot Temple in Sikhiu District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. UPT joined forces with KPN Co., Ltd. (KPN), teachers, students, and local community members to preserve fine Buddhist traditions, promote educational opportunities, and foster strong, sustainable relationships between the organizations and the community.

The activity was conducted under the framework of socially responsible business operations (CSR), focusing on community development across four key dimensions: religion, education, the environment, and employee engagement. It aimed to cultivate a volunteer mindset, reinforce moral and ethical values, and reaffirm the company's commitment to operating business alongside enhancing the quality of life in surrounding communities.

A total of 49 volunteer employees from UPT and KPN, together with teachers and students, participated in handing over donated educational equipment, stationery, essential supplies, and toys to students at Ban Thanon Khot School (Sriwittayakharn). Subsequently, the participants joined a procession to carry Buddhist Lent candles and offerings to Thanon Khot Temple. There, they performed a ceremony to present the candles, candle stands, and offerings, followed by a candle-lit procession around the main chapel (Phra Ubosot). They also engaged in volunteer activities to clean and beautify the grounds of Thanon Khot Temple, ensuring the area was orderly and pristine.

This initiative directly benefited 40 students who received learning tools and developmental toys. Furthermore, the environment at Thanon Khot Temple was refreshed to be clean, shady, and welcoming as a community center. The event fostered fruitful cooperation among the corporate sector, educational institutions, the temple, and the community, while building volunteer consciousness and pride among participating employees.

According to the participant satisfaction evaluation, 100% of participants expressed the highest level of satisfaction (an overall average score of 5.00 out of 5.00) across all areas: event management, personnel, activity formats, benefits received, and corporate image enhancement. This reflects the activity's success in effectively addressing community needs.

The "Merging Merit, Creating Happiness, and Caring for the Community" activity aligns with ESG business practices and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:
