The company's "Fostering Sustainability: Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future" initiative. "ESG and ESMS Training" workshop

Sermsang Power Corporation PLC (SSP) recently organized an "ESG and ESMS Training" workshop to strengthen the sustainability capabilities of its personnel and raise awareness among its partners and contractors. The event was held under the company's "Fostering Sustainability: Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future" initiative. The workshop took place on August 28, 2024, at SSP's solar power plant in Lopburi Province. A total of 56 individuals participated, including employees, O&M (Operation & Maintenance) partners, and contractors responsible for grass cutting, solar panel cleaning, and security services. This represents a 92% participation rate among all relevant stakeholders at the site.

The main activities of the workshop included:

• ESG Knowledge and Awareness: Providing a comprehensive understanding of SSP's Environmental and Social policies, Human Resources policy, Human Rights policy, and its Supplier Code of Conduct. The goal was to equip all participants with the knowledge to apply these principles in their daily business operations.
• Promotion of Renewable Energy: Emphasizing the benefits of renewable energy and its critical role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Development of Sustainability Skills: Focusing on practical skills such as efficient resource management, greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction, and effective waste management.
