Human Capital Development: Advancing Procurement Toward Sustainability
Share:
The Group recognizes that the Procurement Department serves as the frontline and a vital engine in driving a Sustainable Supply Chain. The day-to-day actions and decisions of procurement professionals directly impact on the achievement of corporate sustainability goals. Consequently, the Group is committed to systematically integrating Environmental, Social, Safety, and Governance (ESG) requirements into its procurement processes.
To navigate evolving business dynamics and international standards, the Group initiated the "In-depth Procurement Capacity Building Project." This program focuses on enhancing professional technical skills alongside fostering Responsible Procurement awareness to align with long-term business objectives.

Upskilling & Reskilling: To enhance the strategic knowledge, skills, and competencies of procurement personnel, ensuring transparent, efficient operations that strictly adhere to corporate policies.
ESG Integration: To cultivate a profound understanding of Sustainable Procurement principles, considering ESG issues, business ethics, and risk management throughout the entire supply chain.

Performance & Value Creation
Through this initiative, participating procurement personnel have significantly enhanced their strategic knowledge and technical capacity. They are now equipped to apply international tools and standards to screens, assess, and collaborate with partners more effectively. This ensures the organization’s procurement process is transparent, fair, and fully integrates ESG risks into decision-making, thereby supporting the Group's mission to foster a Sustainable Business Ecosystem.
