Continuing Thought Leadership into the Future Building upon the Success of SSP Innovation 2026 Powering The Future Together: Towards an Intensive Workshop

renewable energy by driving corporate transformation through creativity and technology under the annual program "SSP Innovation 2026: Powering The Future Together." This initiative marks a strategic corporate milestone to enhance competitive advantage while navigating the rapid dynamics and energy transition within the global power sector.

This year’s SSP Innovation initiative officially commenced through its continued second-year partnership with the National Innovation Agency (NIA). An online kick-off session was held on September 21 under the executive workshop curriculum "Ideation towards Innovation: From Idea to Innovation." The session was honored by Dr. Chaithorn Limapornvanich, who shared strategic frameworks, conceptual insights, and creative thinking methodologies to transform ideas into viable, functional innovations that generate tangible, positive organizational impact.

To translate digital foundational insights into direct practical execution, the company hosted an intensive hands-on workshop at The Mandarin Hotel Bangkok. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Kamthorn Wangudom, Chairman of the Board of Sermsang Power Corporation Public Company Limited. In his opening remarks, he underscored the imperative of innovation in today’s volatile business landscape—shaped by the global energy transition, evolving consumer behaviors, and sustainability imperatives. These critical drivers compel organizations to accelerate operational transformation, adopt agile problem-solving paradigms, and enhance operational efficiency to secure long-term competitiveness.

This workshop also featured cross-sectoral collaboration with Srinanaporn Marketing Public Company Limited (SNNP) to exchange corporate insights, integrate diversified industry expertise, explore novel commercial horizons, and upskill human capital in deploying digital innovation, intelligent automation, and AI. A total of 87 participants attended, comprising:

  • 79 personnel from SSP out of an eligible 124 employees (representing an engagement rate of 63.71%), spanning frontline operational staff to senior executives and members of the Board of Directors.
  • 8 strategic partner delegates from Srinanaporn Marketing Public Company Limited (SNNP), participating to foster mutual cross-industry innovation networks.

Throughout the interactive sessions, participants identified new commercial opportunities and engineered targeted frontline solutions to create business value through core keynote sessions and practical modules:

  • Structuring and Converting Ideas into Innovation Projects: Delivered by Dr. Chaithorn Limapornvanich, Director of Innovation Strategy and the Innovation Foresight Institute (NIA), covering "Business Transformation through Innovation Ideas" and "From Innovation Ideas to Innovation Proposal." The syllabus focused on end-to-end innovation roadmaps—from uncovering deep customer insights and problem diagnostics to solution architecture and project charter formulation—leveraging Systematic Inventive Thinking (SIT) and Project Scope Canvas methodologies aligned with pragmatic commercial criteria.
  • Integrating Digital Technology and AI for Modern Leadership: Delivered by Mr. Sam Tanskul, Chief Executive Officer of Tanskul Holding Company Limited, covering the featured masterclass "Digital & AI Transformation for Leaders" (including "AI and Digital Transformation for a Sustainable Future"). The session demonstrated enterprise use cases of artificial intelligence across industries, readiness assessment frameworks for corporate digital transformation, and the strategic mandate of leadership in steering governance, setting actionable milestones, and navigating organizational disruption with prudent risk mitigation.
