Think Before Print Project: Transforming Printing Habits for a Sustainable Future

Sermsang Power is committed to efficient resource utilization and minimizing environmental impact. The “Think Before Print” project was initiated to raise awareness and promote practices for reducing paper and ink usage within the organization. It emphasizes that employees change printing habits and choose appropriate fonts for efficient printing. The “Think Before Print” project is part of the sustainable corporate governance policy and empowers employees to play a role in reducing environmental impact at the organizational level.

Activity Guidelines:

• Reduce unnecessary printing – Encourage employees to consider necessity before printing and choose document printing modes on paper.
• Use ink-saving fonts – Promote the use of TH Sarabun PSK Ecofont version 1.0, a collaboration with students from the College of Social Communication Innovation, Srinakharinwirot University, which can reduce ink consumption by up to 30% while maintaining clarity. • Raise employee awareness – Communicate internally within the organization.

Progress as of Year-End 2024

• 50 employees, representing 53.8% of all staff, have understood and begun using the font in organizational documents.
• There is a positive trend in reducing paper and ink consumption.
