Project to Reuse Wastewater from Production in Biomass

Ash Capture System Electricity generation from biomass in typical processes still produces waste such as biomass ash and wastewater, requiring efficient management to minimize environmental impact and enhance resource utilization. Therefore, the Group implements a project to reuse wastewater from production processes in other electricity generation processes, such as the biomass ash capture process in the company's biomass power plants, including Cooling, RO (Reverse Osmosis), and CEDI (Continuous Electrodeionization) systems, to reuse treated water, enhance water utilization efficiency, reduce water consumption from natural sources, and improve water use efficiency simultaneously.

Project Objectives:

To enhance water, use efficiency and reduce wastewater volume by utilizing Reject water from various systems in capturing and managing Fly Ash generated from the Group's biomass power plants.

Main Benefits:

  1. Water Conservation: Reduce the extraction of surface water by reusing Reject water, saving 99% of water usage.
  2. Pollution Reduction: Manage biomass ash efficiently, reducing the dispersion of biomass ash dust.
  3. Economic Viability: Lower wastewater treatment costs and water loss in production processes.
  4. Environmental Impact: Support the Group's sustainability goals by utilizing renewable resources.
