“Empower to Preserve: Smart Grid & Green Operations for Energy Reduction”
Project Objectives:
- Reduce overall energy consumption in the Group's operational processes, covering both generation (clean energy production and efficiency enhancement) and energy distribution (low-carbon energy distribution and smart grid integration).
- Enhance operational efficiency by utilizing smart technologies and data analysis.
- Support the Group's ESG goals under the ‘Preserving’ concept in the environmental dimension, demonstrating commitment to natural resource conservation and pursuing carbon neutrality.
Project Implementation:
- Install smart grid technology to enhance energy management efficiency, reduce transmission losses, and improve load management, aiming to decrease energy loss during electricity distribution and increase energy management efficiency from solar, wind, and biomass sources by 5%, with an expected reduction of up to 10% within three years.
- Employ AI-powered energy management systems, real-time sensors, and analytical tools to generate real-time reports – enhancing the accuracy of energy demand forecasting and managing energy use in fluctuating solar and wind power plants.
- Upgrade load-receiving equipment, optimize the efficiency of generation units, distribution units, and transmission lines, and reduce average cumulative energy losses within the past operating period by improving energy conversion efficiency and decreasing operational energy consumption.
- Implement a Circular Energy Recovery System by adopting heat recovery systems from production processes and reusing surplus energy from biomass production, increasing energy utilization, reducing the need for external energy sources, and supporting the circular economy, achieving energy savings of approximately 5-15%.
- Conduct Employee Engagement & Training by organizing workshops on energy conservation, efficient energy use, and power equipment maintenance, fostering knowledge and positive energy-saving behaviors, and promoting efficient energy consumption practices.
