Occupational Health and Safety Project: Fire Suppression and Emergency Management Training

The Group places the highest priority on sustainable business operations under ESG principles by integrating Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) into the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Recognizing that fire hazards are significant risks that can directly impact lives, assets, the environment, and Business Continuity, the Group has proactively initiated the "Fire Suppression and Emergency Response Training Project." This initiative aims to enhance organizational readiness and resilience, extending safety governance to include Contractors and Suppliers to foster a sustainably secure value chain.

Implementation & Strategic Partnership

In 2025, the Group conducted comprehensive theoretical and practical training (On-site Drills), emphasizing Contractor OHS Engagement. The details of these collaborative efforts are as follows:

  • Wind Power Business (Winchai Co., Ltd.): Conducted joint training with a key technology partner, Vestas Wind Technology (Thailand) Ltd. The training was executed in two phases: the first on June 20, 2025, and the second on October 6, 2025.
  • Biomass Power Plant Business (UPT): Conducted joint training with a key partner, KPN Green Energy Solution Public Company Limited. The training was executed in two phases: the first on July 4, 2025, and the second on October 27, 2025.

Performance & Value Creation

Through the execution of this project, the Group achieved 100% completion of the scheduled training plan. This ensured that both employees and contractors acquired the knowledge, understanding, and practical skills necessary to respond to emergency situations accurately and promptly.

Furthermore, the project reinforces a robust Safety Culture within the organization, effectively mitigating accident risks. It drives the Group toward the target of Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI) and serves as a testament to our Crisis Management readiness. These efforts ensure business continuity in alignment with the organization’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
