Strategic Innovation: Digital Transformation & Paperless Workflow via "E-Memo"

The Group has integrated corporate innovation with sustainable resource management by scaling a successful internal innovation contest entry into the "E-Memo" Project (Online Document Approval System). This initiative drives a complete Digital Transformation, transitioning from traditional paper-based workflows to a fully electronic system. The project aims to eliminate resource inefficiency—specifically paper, ink, and electricity, which are root causes of office waste and hidden costs, propelling the Group toward becoming a true Green Organization.

Operational Approach

The implementation of the E-Memo system focuses on resource management based on Circular Economy principles, emphasizing Waste Reduction at Source through four key pillars:

  1. Paperless Workflow: Transitioning internal document creation and approval processes to a full digital platform to reduce printing and paper consumption across all departments.
  2. Source Reduction of Consumables: Eliminating unnecessary printing, which directly reduces the consumption of printer ink and office supplies, thereby preventing waste generated from these materials.
  3. Fostering a “Digital First” Culture (Resource Optimization): Encouraging employees at all levels to shift their behavior by prioritizing electronic documents as the primary choice for all operational procedures.
  4. Energy Efficiency: Reducing the operational load on printers and related office equipment, leading to a tangible decrease in overall electricity consumption.

Outcomes and Organizational Impact

  • Environmental Impact: Since the project's inception, the Group has successfully processed 614 items/documents digitally. This has led to a significant reduction in paper waste, conserved natural resources associated with paper production (such as wood pulp and water), and minimizing the long-term waste disposal burden.
  • Corporate & Economic Value: The initiative has lowered Operating Expenditures (OPEX) related to office consumables while enhancing workflow speed and auditability. This marks a critical step in modernizing the organization's infrastructure for long-term sustainable growth.
